As so far as it has today it's according to the local coordination¹ committee's an opposition² group at least 40 people have been killed in violence in Homs and Idly province and elsewhere, in Syria and certainly we did hear, we saw that Syria's national television today at that the spokesman for the foreign ministry³ in Damascus J. When they come to the 6-point plan and particularly one point regarding the end of the use of heavy weaponry in Syrian cities and the pullback of Syrian forces from populated areas that he has a different interpretation⁴. 

We have been always saying the Syrian military is in selfdefense mode. And here we don't mean that the Syrian military is present to defend itself, but it protects the civilians⁵ who have been taken as hostages. In many cases it's in a bit to stabilize⁶ the country. This is the military's duty. This is their mission. The army is not pleased to be present on the streets of residential⁷ areas. Once there is stability and peace in any deserted⁸ area and the civilians are back, the military will not stay on the ground, and we are not waiting on Kophie Annan to tell us when to pick up and go.   

And of course we saw that peace and stability in the Homs neighborhood of B. one under a 20 day, 20-day seige, after which Bashal al Saad want respected what was left ove the neighborhood, and I think that may be a hint of the kind of blueprint⁹ the Syrian regime has for putting down this uprising not it appears Kophie Annan's 6-point plan. Phinila? 

And Ben, if the Syrian army is going to stay in the cities that it's already been and despite this peace plan what else do we know of the Syrian military and authorities doing in times of supply recent and rules that coming in from other countries bring aid and such so forth¹⁰? 

What we do know is that Syrian authorities have ambushed¹¹ a capture to key players and supply route between Lebanon and the city of Homs, and according to activists¹² these two men are have been tortured and what it appears that the government is really just raping¹³ that supply route, supply lying out by the routes, as a result of the potentially information there to be strucken in, some 20 being more and more difficult to those Syrian towns and cities that are in rebellion against the regime have its cracks down, on those supply routes.
