Oscar Pistorius has begun serving a 5-year sentence for the shooting death of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp. Pistorius could end up serving just 10 months before being subject to home confinement¹.

 

A neighbor says the Canadian man accused of hitting 2 Canadian soldiers with his car yesterday near Montreal had become increasingly radicalized. One of the soldiers died. Martin Rouleau was shot by police following a car chase and later died.

 

And a Pennsylvinia convenience store clerk just won a wound-be robber to bug² off. Police say the clerk sprayed a woman wearing a mask with bug spray until she flew out of the store.
