Lots of people say socialism¹ is the best system² to run a country. It seems³ the fairest⁴ way. I like the idea that all people are the same and should be paid⁵ more or less⁶ the same. I’ve often thought⁷ it’s unfair that in our capitalist world, many people get paid huge⁸ amounts⁹ of money while¹⁰ others¹¹ have too little money to survive¹². It’s not right that one person¹³ can get millions¹⁴ of dollars a month, while others are lucky¹⁶ to get one thousand dollars. Most of the time, it depends¹⁷ on your luck¹⁵ when you’re born¹⁸. You go to a good school and then get a good job. Or at least¹⁹ we are told it’s a good job. Personally²⁰, I don’t think bank managers²¹ should earn²² more than nurses, and sport stars shouldn’t earn more than soldiers²³.
