President Trump1 and Russian President Vladimir Putin meet Monday at Finland's Presidential Palace. Members of Congress in both parties condemned2 the meeting after 12 Russian military officers were indicted3 in the Russia election hacking4 probe.

A top European Union leader is urging Trump, Putin and China to avoid trade wars. In an interview reported Saturday, President Trump called the European Union a "foe5" of the United Sates.

A wildfire has burned more than 6 square miles near California's Yosemite National Park. At least one firefighter has died while battling the flames.

And police in Paris used the water cannon6 to clear the streets. Violence broke out amid massive celebrations after France's soccer team won the World Cup.
