Jonathan: Everyone, I would like you to welcome Mr. Chan. He is the visiting representative from our new factory in Cambodia.

Chan: Thank you, Jonathan. Because of the hostilities1 between our two nations in the past, it has been difficult to strike an accord or to do business with one another.

Jonathan: Yes, that is until recently. Thank goodness.

Chan: My feelings exactly. The problem with governments is that they are just in it for themselves. Meanwhile, the common people want to do business and live our lives.
