Well, I think one of the things to be sure of is your own family history. So if you have a strong family history of cardiac disease, of blood clots³, then it’s important to … no matter what medication your teenager decides to go on, it’s important to make sure that you are aware of that and you let her doctor be aware of that.

 

Make sure you discuss all this with your doctor before deciding if popping a pill might make your monthly pain go away.
